FAQs

 What should I wear?

You are welcome to wear Cocktail Festive or Indian Attire, whichever you prefer. Flaunt bright colors and bring the razzle dazzle! If it’s your first time trying Indian Attire, Friday Ceremonies are a great occasion and you can switch to Western Wear for the Reception on Saturday.

Gentlemen: Look suave and classy in a traditional Indian Kurta. You are fine to pair the Kurta top with a nice pair of slacks. Or opt for a jacket and collared shirt. Ties are welcome but optional.

Ladies: Rock your best jumpsuit or dress, long or short. If you’re feeling Indian Attire, try a Saree or a Lehenga Choli for Friday night. We’ll have plenty of Indian Aunties to assist you if it’s your first time trying Indian clothing.

Bring layers, as Seattle can get chilly at night even in the summer!

Are kids welcome?

Yes! Now that we have a better idea of COVID regulations we are welcoming kids to our Saturday Reception.

Is there parking at the venues?

Yes. Parking for Friday at the Bell Street Pier Garage is $8 after 5pm. Parking for Saturday at The Hyatt Regency is $20 for hotel guests and $25 otherwise.

What food will be provided during Friday’s Cocktail Hour?

We will serve heavy appetizers including Vegetable Samosas & Pakoras, Chicken Wings, Tandoori Lamb Boti, and a few other favorites. We will NOT provide a formal sit-down dinner, so please plan accordingly with a big lunch or your own early evening or late night dinner reservations.
